The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s. It breaks work into focused 25-minute intervals (called "Pomodoros") separated by short breaks. The basic process involves choosing a task, working on it for 25 minutes, taking a 5-minute break, and repeating this cycle 3-4 times before taking a longer 15-30 minute break. This method aims to boost focus and productivity while preventing burnout by allowing the mind to stay fresh and avoiding distractions.
This app primarily performs simple time-based calculations. It counts down the specified durations in seconds, converting the displayed time to minutes and seconds for easier reading. The app does not involve complex mathematical calculations beyond basic time tracking and conversion.
