Time zones are geographic regions that observe the same standard time. They are defined relative to a designated reference meridian, often the Prime Meridian at 0° longitude passing through Greenwich, England. The world is divided into 24 major time zones spaced at 15° longitude intervals, with some countries further subdividing into additional offsets.
This application does not perform any calculations. It provides a visual representation of time zones across the world using mapping data.
